Camp Deer Run is one of those places you visit and do not want to leave!! It is located in East Texas. The kids learn about God and just get to be kids. They have a theme every day; Indian Day, Sadie Hawkins Day, Capture the Flag. This was Ashlyn's 2nd year to go. She invited her BFF Natalie to go with her this year. They both had soo much fun. Karen Natalie's mom rode out to camp with me to drop the girls off. We stopped and ate lunch at Chili's. The girls were soo excited.

Looks like they had a great time. All the way home the girls sang, laughed and told stories. It was great!! They are already talking about going to the 2 week session next year.
