Leadership Training for Christ (LTC)

Each year the kids participate in Leadership Training for Christ (LTC).  It is a program set for kids between the ages of 3rd through 12th grade.  This year the theme was "The Rock" and the book was 2 Samuel. 

The practices start in January and continue until Good Friday.  On Good Friday we head to Dallas to the convention.  There are different events and challenges for the kids.  The kids are awarded medals for their events, bronze, silver and gold.  I help coach the scrapbook teams, the scrapbooks are a recap of the past year. We had 2 teams this year, which meant 2 scrapbooks. It was a lot of work but we got them done!!!  We received gold medals for both scrapbooks!  WOOHOO!!

Ashlyn participated in a lot of events.  She received gold medals for photography (makes me proud), drama, scrapbook, teaching, puppets and chorus.  Way to go girl!!!

After the convention, there is an Awards Showcase.  The kids find out how they did in their events and get their medals.  The kids did very well.   We are sooo proud of them!
